GARLANDS!

I'm a bit obsessed with garlands at the moment, but from what I see around the web - I'm really not alone with this. It's so easy, quick and inexpensive (mostly) to decorate any place and create a big impact with a few pretty garlands. And you can make them out of a bit of string and just about any piece of paper or fabric you can find. A few examples:

Right: party favors on a string (found on a Finnish page that credits a Finnish photographer, but I sort of remember having seen this original project somewhere else - if you know the source, leave a comment, please)

  4. I love garlands too. We have just moved house, and I made pom pom garland just last week ( alsmost same colours as the one in your post). They are so simple, but they can cheer up any room. Beautiful and inspiring as always xxx

  5. LOVED this post! Gorgeous garland wrap up. I just have to say, though, that the Confetti Systems people are magical wizards. I can't understand how they can keep the tissue paper from getting crinkled!

  7. I have just discovered your blog and I just love it. I am a bit of wannabe party planner (just ask the family). I'm hoping my daughters don't want to organize their own weddings :)
BTW I love a garland or two, too!
